I have lived in Tacoma for over 25 years. My wife and I raised our three daughters here, and we believe in Tacoma – its families, schools, businesses, and community organizations.

My Tacoma practice is dedicated to estate and succession planning for families and their businesses, probate and elder law litigation, representation of corporations and shareholders, and advising not-for-profit entities.

I am admitted to practice in the state of Washington and the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington and serve as a court-appointed Guardian ad litem. I serve as a member of the Tacoma Pierce County Bar Association Judicial Qualifications Committee, the Finance Committee of the Laird Norton Family Foundation, and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Foss Waterway Seaport. A 1981 graduate of Occidental College and former history teacher, I graduated from Seattle University School of Law in 1992 and now serve as a member of the Law School’s Law Legacy Committee.
